Most of our clients are Black business owners in historically underserved and under-resourced areas. Donor support is critical in helping us to continue to provide free entrepreneurial services to their businesses. Your contributions allow us to continue to stabilize the local economy and level the playing field, so all businesses have the tools they need to succeed.
Our Role
PBA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Black-owned, woman-led tax-exempt organization based in the Kansas City Urban Core. We’re proud to be one of the city’s Entrepreneurial Support Organizations. We believe economic and business development is the foundation of a healthy community. That’s why we work to assure businesses receive the support and resources needed to start, scale and sustain within their respective industries. We provide uniquely tailored services and deliver long-term solutions to the sustainability, ongoing recovery and resiliency of businesses in Kansas City.
