While PBA serves businesses and entrepreneurs from all industries in the Greater Kansas City Area, our primary objective is to correct decades of disinvestment and systemic barriers in the Prospect Corridor and Urban Core. We’ve done this by developing strategic initiatives, vital partnerships and intentionally targeted responses. As we continue to build, we look forward to the ongoing transformation and success of the Kansas City area.

Our History

Build A Healthy Community and a More Vibrant Kansas City.

We’re working toward a vibrant community through developing and sustaining minority small businesses and microenterprises. This work goes toward a future filled with self-sustaining businesses, quality housing and safer neighborhoods. Together, we can constantly grow a community with resources that contribute to equitable economic and business growth.

Innovation. Collaboration. Transformation. Diversity. Productivity.
