Our Mission & Vision

Its Our Time!

But the work is not done!
It’s going to take urban core stakeholders speaking in unified voice to secure the resources, advocacy, and attention that our residents and families deserve. Isn’t it time?

It’s our time!
Kansas city has experienced economic injections that have reinvigorated areas such as the Crossroads and Downtown. The time to reverse patterns of disinvestment in our urban core is now!

Join us…
Whether you are an established organization or a budding entrepreneur beginning this journey, the PBA is where you can learn more about city, state, and federal resources that can advance your project, while also leveraging the momentum of other area projects.

Positive on Prospect: the movement community leaders say will turn the east side around

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — More people came to the Prospect Business Association meeting on Tuesday than ever before.

“Generations of OGs with the younger people mashed together, blacks, whites, all for one cause to push the inner-city, Prospect, and turn it into Ward Parkway,” described Walter Lee Edwin, AKA The Popper.

It was a meeting of the minds, all talking about the movement right now to revitalize the Prospect Avenue corridor.
